Industrial designer Konstantin Grcic‘s Monza chair for Plank in production. Grcic currently has an exhibition of his work on show at the Art Institute of Chicago. Decisive Design is the first comprehensive showcase of his work in the U.S. and runs through January 24, 2010.

Following last year’s success of his Myto chair, Konstantin Grcic is debuting Monza, a new chair for the Italian manufacturer Plank. The project connects the materials wood and plastic injection molding bringing together the company’s roots in artisan craftsmanship with elements of modern industrial design. The chair is making its debut next week in Milan.
