This fall, W San Francisco is transforming all of its public spaces, as well as launching a new restaurant, Trace. Stanley Saitowitz’s localist design approach draws inspiration from the city’s topography and characteristic fog. The design revolves local poet Ambrose Bierce’s quote “This city is a point upon a map of fog.”  The completion of this project rounds-out the recent revamp of the property’s suites.
