A wonderful discovery at last week’s inaugural Wanted Design from Brooklyn-based Colleen and Eric. The Opposite Day table lamp where the table is the light and the lamp is the switch.

Using LEDs for illumination the lamp acts as a dimmer switch. A rechargeable battery allows the table to be untethered from the wall. A programmable Arduino chip controls the electronics, and allows for software customization.
