Made of powder coated steel tube and a single piece of solid Elm, the Bench Rack by Vik & Fougere is suitable for hanging clothes, storing shoes and sitting.

Although the design is visually quite simplified, the tight radius and exceptionally minimal deformation of the bends in the steel tubing is achieved by utilizing state of the art tube bending and forming machinery. By foregoing the temptation of loud details, the Bench Rack remains congruent with Vik & Fougere’s insistence of keeping stylistic aesthetics to a minimum.

The Bench Rack will make its debut at the IDS Prototype Exhibit in Toronto Canada on January 27, 2011.
