What is your favorite example of great design?
A product that conveys a combination newness and freshness, but also resounds with comfortable memories. Layers and Repeat, the two textile patterns I designed for Maharam, are good examples of this combined approach.

What is the most memorable moment in your career as a designer?
Life is a string of important moments, at this moment in time I’m enjoying a new start in Berlin, the city I moved to last year. It is very inspiring to be a beginner, and to invent everything new, because of a new environment, a new culture, new friends, and a new climate.

What is the most important factor that influences and/or inspires your design process?
My intuition is my biggest talent, it’s sharp, fast and reliable.
