Teknion announced that it is one of only three companies to be honored recently in this year’s Sustainability Recognition Awards sponsored by the University of Ottawa.

“Whatever accomplishments, whatever success, whatever we do to make our campus more sustainable, we do it with the help of our partners,” said Jonathan Rausseo, Sustainable Development Manager at the University of Ottawa. “We rely on them for their great ideas and their conviction to excellence. Teknion is a model example of how companies can make a product that is not only suited to the needs of a client, but also takes stock of its impact on the environment.

In addition to Teknion, Xerox Canada Ltd. and The Computer Media Group also received Sustainability Recognition Awards. Awards were presented at the University of Ottawa at MVP Rendez-vous 2009 – this year’s Most Valued Partners ceremony – held in November.
