Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel Architects, a New York City-based architecture firm, has completed an interior renovation of Panorama Flight Services’ terminal at the Westchester Airport. This marks the first airline project for the firm.

The 5,000 square-foot Panorama terminal features a newly renovated lobby that more closely resembles an intimate lounge at a boutique hotel than a typical airline waiting area. Sleek lounge chairs and settees are grouped together around coffee tables in conversation nooks. There is a bar adjacent to the seating area providing beverages and food for the travelers. Stone floors are contrasted with warm wood and fabric walls. There is a sleek custom reception desk using mixed materials. A separate pilots lounge is adjacent to the public lobby.
