DMD Green, the sustainable marketing, strategy and consultation firm has announced the launch of SocialCycling, an innovative process that addresses the way we look at and talk about recycled products and processes. The sustainability conversation now addresses the full life‐span of a product through to its second‐life as a product that meets the needs of communities around the globe.

SocialCycling is a multistep process that takes difficult to recycle materials and facilitates their use in new products. The concept is attracting manufacturers in architecture and design as many companies struggle to find ways to keep their post‐consumer products out of landfills.
- The process takes a post‐consumer product and reclaims materials at a SocialCycling site.
- Once collected, the recycled materials are distributed to converters and/or local artisans who use the materials to make new products for a new community.
- The chain of custody is monitored to ensure that products are used in the creation of new products and never end up in a landfill.
- The program provides certification confirming accuracy and transparency for corporations, their stakeholders and their consumers.
