Humanscale’s annual Faces in the Wild art auction and fundraiser generated a total donation of $42,000 for World Wildlife Fund. The September 16, 2009 event raised a total of $21,000 in bids and donations, an amount that was matched by Humanscale to be presented to WWF.

More than 175 guests attended the auction in Humanscale’s jungle-themed New York City showroom, including artists, designers, local philanthropists and WWF supporters.
The following pieces were declared winners for their excellence and creativity:

- “Flamingos, Reflect” by Black + Blum
- “Renatta” by Rodger Stevens
Honorable mentions were awarded to:
- “Blue Bear” by Kathy Jackson of Brand Partners

- “The Hierarchy of the King” by Sean Martorana of +HE s+UDiO
