Last year marked the beginning of a lighting collaboration between Kalmar, an Austrian lighting firm with a rich history that dates back to the 1870′s and the contemporary San Franciscan lighting studio of Jonathan Browning. The lauded Dornstab lamp is the just one of the products in the 2008 collaborative collection that began with Jonathan flying to Austria to rediscover over 900 archived drawings hidden away in a basement of the family building in the center of Vienna.
