*HOK has designed and moved into new office space located on the 14th floor of the CNA building in Chicago. The 27,000-square-foot office was just awarded LEED CI Platinum Certification from USGBC. The facility is only the fourth in Chicago to achieve LEED CI Platinum certification. Design of the new space was overseen by Tom Polucci, Director of Interiors for HOK’s office in Chicago, and team members Natalie Banaszak, Julie Hick, Mike McKeown, Colin Rohlfing, Kevin Sexton, Alyssa Simons and David Ziolkowski.
*Edward Leight and Lee Feigenbaum, Project Managers with Heritage Mechanical Services, have received accreditation from the USGBC as LEED professionals. Heritage Mechanical Services is a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc.
*Rita St. Clair Associates, design specialists in commercial and residential projects, announced that designer Polly Bartlett recently received her LEED Accreditation from the USBGC. Bartlett’s designation as a LEED AP will allow the firm to broaden its scope of projects to include LEED design services.
*The Stamford office of international design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman has reached a milestone in achieving LEED AP status, furthering the global commitment of the firm to a sustainable practice. The office’s most recent additions to its roster of green experts includes Adriana Campos; Joseph Culotta AIA; Danile DeBoo AIA; Herve Hamon RA; Alejandro Knopoff; and Stuart Lachs AIA.
