*Edward Leight and Lee Feigenbaum, Project Managers with Heritage Mechanical Services, have received accreditation from the USGBC as a LEED professionals. One of the leading HVAC and airside contractors in the northeastern United States, Heritage Mechanical Services is a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc.
*KI’s recent addition of furniture to earn GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification brings its total number of GREENGUARD Certified product collections to 126. The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) recently awarded this certification to all seating products manufactured at KI’s High Point, NC, facility, which largely manufactures lounge and healthcare furnishing solutions.
*OFS Brands, Inc., a commercial furniture manufacturer based in Huntingburg, Indiana, has achieved GREENGUARD certification across all brands and sku’s without restrictions.
*Symantec, the security and utilities vendor based in Cupertino, CA’s, Oregon facility has been certified LEED Gold. It’s the second time that the firm has earned the ranking for one of its sites. The USGBC awarded the rating to the Symantec facility in Springfield under the LEED parameters for Existing Buildings; Operations and Maintenance. The earlier gold rating, under the LEED standards for new construction, went to the company’s Culver City campus last year.
