Newly constructed in 2008 and introduced to the design community by Arch Daily, Brazilian Marcio Kogan’s newest offering is a vision of contemporary minimalism. The Osler House is the latest addition to a host of recent projects that nod to Mid-Century modernism but employ present day technology and eco-knowledge to a design aesthetic that already lends itself to green thinking. It is sure to attract a legion of fans and architectural press recognition.
Perhaps a Latin American trend, The Osler House joins other Latin American projects (Terreno Despues de Acapulco, Eduardo Cadaval and Clara SolĂ -Morales’s breezy modern eco-friendly project was featured in Metropolis magazine’s June issue) gaining recognition in the international architectural community.
