IA Interior Architects has assumed an equity share of The Design Studio, a Tokyo-based interior design services provider. The agreement will unite IA, one of the largest interior architectural firms worldwide, and TDS, a highly distinguished interior design firm in Tokyo.

The union will provide TDS with a global platform to serve clients worldwide, while significantly increasing IA’s presence and market share in Japan and the surrounding regions. TDS has been a partner in IA’s Global Alliance for over a decade; it has been instrumental in helping to develop the expansion needs of IA’s multinational clients, including Expedia, Inc. and Huron Consulting.
